The Florida Story Slam Competition is coming to the annual Florida Storytelling Festival!

Here’s all you need to know:
Story Slam
- Theme: TBA
- 5-minute time limit
- All story genres welcome, including personal story and folk tale.
- Telling order determined by random drawing
- Show up and put your name in the “hat”
- We draw names until we run out of time.
- Cash Prizes
- First Place: $100
- Second Place: $75
- Third Place: $50
- Winners determined by selected judges in the audience
- Each judge assigns a score
- Deductions for going over time limit
