Storytelling Groups (also called Guilds or Circles) meet to support the art and craft of oral storytelling in their local areas. Many guilds meet informally to swap stories, others have more formal meetings, and many also host formal events. From story listeners to beginners to seasoned storytellers, the guilds also provide networking and social time. Some are free and others have a membership fee. All are dedicated to promoting storytelling and their local storytellers. Contact a group near you for more details.
