The Winds were cold, the tellers were hot, The seats were full... Florida StoryFest was great;
and plans are underway for the
30th anniversary March 6-9 2014

The Florida StoryFest was a howling success if you count the number of seats we filled each night at the concerts. The weather was cold the wind licked white caps on the lake, but the people just kept coming for the stories.

Florida StoryFest was more than just the stories. There were 32 great workshops by people from all over the country. There were four wonderful concerts and we were packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Just imagine what it would have been like if the weather had been warm.

We are all looking forward to next years event March 6-9, 2014.  Mark you calendar and know that we have already confirmed Kevin Kling for the 2014 festival (www.kevinkling.com)   Check back in here for updates on the other great tellers that will share the stage with Kevin. Like one of our tellers said this year, "It doesn't get much better than this.... but it does."

Thanks to all the tellers, our ASL interpreter, emcees, sound and light crew, photographers, workshop presenters, people in the background who made sure there were monitors, water, schedules, stuff in the store, the popcorn, and everyone who showed up to participate, this event would be nothing without all of you.

Major thanks to John O'Hara and his crew from StoryHub who provided lights, sound and video taping of StoryFest. Their generous contribution made this event better because they cared.
